Amir Ali, is a fashion designer/pattern-maker driven by his dream of merging the beauty of Persian culture with the edgy allure of streetwear. Growing up Iranian American, and never being able to travel to Iran, Amir ali got his cultural influence from his families homes covered from top to bottom with original Persian artifacts, artwork, and most importantly carpets. Amir Ali sought a way to articulate his narrative of the beauty of his culture through art. Raised in a family that fled Iran during the 1978-79 Islamic Revolution, Amir's designs are not just a creative expression but a poignant homage to his roots, His designs always aim to challenge stereotypes and dedicated to honoring the brave people of Iran. his designs blend traditional Persian prints and patterns with NYC streetwear silhouettes, creating a unique fusion in his designs.
